Aviad Alush and his friends invite 84-year-old Rita to their apartment in Tel Aviv every Friday night to join them for their Shabbat dinner. Rita is a Holocaust survivor, and until they started this custom, she had never experienced a lively and traditional Shabbat dinner. However, because of coronavirus, they have not been able to have her over. So they came up with a creative solution…they opened their apartment door and moved the table to the doorway, and she did the same so that they could celebrate Shabbat together, but from a safe distance!
