When Ernest stopped to change the tire of a woman he didn’t know, he changed more than he can imagine. He helped change perceptions, stereotypes, negativity and opinions. He saw someone in need of help, so he turned around his truck and helped her. Even though he had the flu and was feeling sick. Even though he was on his way to the doctor. Who knows if he will ever discover that she posted about him. But all those who have seen her post will be inspired by his random act of kindness and will hopefully be that much quicker to help another the next time the opportunity arises.
