Due to COVID-19, Israel has been strictly enforcing that there be no large gatherings of people. So how can a wedding be properly celebrated when you can’t have a party? Judaism teaches that “simcha poretz geder” meaning that “joy breaks all boundaries.” So even though people couldn’t be in a wedding hall dancing together, that didn’t stop them from dancing on the rooftops (literally)!
