Sometimes it’s the small things that show your character. And it’s important we pay attention to them so that we can recognize the hurdles we overcome in our day to day lives. All this man was doing was trying to deliver a package. But on an icy driveway, it wasn’t so simple. But that didn’t stop him from trying. And trying. And trying until he figured out a way to do it. He easily could have decided it was just too hard and delivered it the next day or left it on the sidewalk as the owner told him to just do…but he didn’t. And every single time we push ourselves to do something out of our comfort zone that many would walk away from, we should appreciate what we have done. And so, congratulations UPS man on a package (and message) well delivered!

Last week we had an ice storm. My driveway was smooth, wet ice… super slippery. I heard the UPS truck pull up so I opened the garage and told him to just leave the package at the sidewalk and I’d figure out a way to get it, but he insisted on getting it to me. Above and beyond… this guy is awesome.
